What Are Learning Materials?
Learning Materials are any educational resources that you can upload and store in your My Materials library.
These can include PDFs, slides, videos, or other files that students will use for lessons.
Creating them here allows you to easily reuse or attach them to different classrooms without uploading again.
How to Create a Learning Material
- Go to the My Materials page in your Teacher Portal.
- Click the Create Material card (the one with the ➕ icon).
- A creation form will slide in from the right side of the screen.
- At the top of this form, use the Material Type switch and select Learning.
Filling Out the Learning Material Form
Once “Learning” is selected, fill out the following fields:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Material File Upload | Upload the main file (PDF, slide, video, etc.) for your material. |
| Title | Give your material a clear and descriptive name. |
| Description | A short summary of what this material covers. |
| Overview | (Optional) A more detailed explanation or outline of the material’s content. |
When finished, click Save to add it to your library or Cancel to discard your progress.
Managing Created Materials
After saving, your new material will instantly appear on the My Materials page — in both Card View and List View.
From here, you can:
- Edit the title, file, or description
- Delete the material from your library
- Preview its contents before sharing
- Add to Classroom to make it visible to students
💡 Tip: Keeping your titles and descriptions clear makes it easier to find and reuse materials later.
