What Are Learning Materials?

Learning Materials are educational resources that students read or download — PDFs, slides, handouts, and similar files.
Creating them in My Materials lets you reuse them across classrooms without uploading again.

How to Create a Learning Material

Open Material from the sidebar to go to My Materials.
Click Create material to open Create Material.
Select Learning as the material type.
Choose a creation mode:

Generate new PDF

Select Generate new PDF.
Describe what you need (topic, level, length, format).
Click Generate in Sayo Chat to open Sayo Chat with your prompt pre-filled.
Refine the document in chat, then save it back to My Materials when ready.

Upload existing PDF

Select Upload existing PDF.
Choose a PDF from your device.
Fill in Title, Description, and optional Overview.
Click Save to My Materials to store it in your library.

Only PDF files are supported on the direct upload path.

After Saving

Your material appears on the My Materials page. From there you can edit it, preview it, or Send to Room to share it with a class.

💡 Tip: Keeping your titles and descriptions clear makes it easier to find and reuse materials later.
