Lesson Plan Tool
The Lesson Plan tool helps you quickly create a structured lesson plan, then seamlessly continue refining it in Sayo Chat.

- Sidebar → Tools → "Lesson Plan"

How it works
- Select your Grade Level, Subject, and Curriculum
- Grade Level and Subject automatically tailor the Curriculum list (e.g. IB PYP, HKDSE, China National Curriculum, NGSS, US Common Core).
- Add your Topic and any Additional Criteria
- Examples: prior knowledge, available facilities, differentiation needs.
- Press "Generate"
- You will be taken to Sayo Chat where the first message is pre-filled from your selections.
- The assistant will stream a first lesson plan for you.
Refining your plan in Sayo Chat
- Ask follow-up questions or request iterations (e.g. "Make this suitable for a mixed-ability class", "Add an exit ticket").
- Attach files or links (e.g. PDFs, images) to ground the plan. Supported types include PDF, DOCX, images and more.
- Toggle features like web search or HTML creation when available.
Credits
- Each streamed assistant turn deducts one credit upon successful completion.
Tips
- Use clear objectives and time-bound sections.
- Include formative checks and adaptations for learners.
