Terms of Service

By creating an account or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Sayo Academy provides an educational platform with AI-assisted tools for teachers and students, including classrooms, materials, grading, content generation, and optional integrations such as Google Classroom and Google Drive. We may add, change, or remove features at any time.

The Service is intended for teachers, schools, and their students. If you are below the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may use the Service only under the supervision of a teacher, school, or parent who agrees to these Terms on your behalf. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account.

You agree not to:

• use the Service for any unlawful or harmful purpose;
• upload content that infringes the rights of others or violates applicable law;
• attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems;
• interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service; or
• misuse connected third-party accounts or data in violation of their terms.

Certain features require a paid subscription. Pricing and plan details are shown on our pricing page. Fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis and are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated. You may cancel at any time, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

You retain ownership of the content you create or upload. You grant Sayo Academy a limited licence to host, store, process, and display that content solely to operate and provide the Service to you. You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to any content you upload or import.

The Service integrates with third-party services, including Google Classroom, Google Drive, and Google Forms. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and policies, and you are responsible for the data you choose to import or connect. Our use of Google user data is described in our Privacy Policy.

The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by Sayo Academy and protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to our trademarks or other brand features.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated content will be accurate or fit for a particular purpose.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sayo Academy will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if we are required to do so by law. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases, though provisions that by their nature should survive will remain in effect.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hong Kong.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
