Online Workshop: Putonghua × Values Education — A New Paradigm

From classical texts to AI-powered immersive Putonghua learning.

With the publication of the EDB Values Education Curriculum Framework (2026), bringing the spirit of "rooted in China, connecting to the world, embracing the future" into classrooms is now front and centre for Putonghua educators. Co-hosted by United Prime Educational Publishing (UPEP) and Sayo AI, this workshop helps teachers step beyond conventional patterns and explore practical ways to land values-led teaching.

We begin from the editorial vantage point at UPEP with an overview of the Values Education Curriculum Framework (2026), unpacking how literary allusions and modern lesson scripts can bolster students' civic identity — then we move into Sayo AI's technology stack: students converse across time with "AI Zhuge Liang," read Silk Road narratives with AI pronunciation coaching, and thread values organically into instruction.
