For 12 years, AiTLE ICT Mock Circle has stood by the principle of No Paid, No Gain. This does not mean schools, teachers or students pay a fee (and payment alone would not grant access anyway) — it means teachers must take part in setting and marking papers. The whole Mock Circle mirrors the HKEAA ICT paper cycle: question setting → (repeated) discussion and refinement → proofreading → a central mock exam → marker meetings → central marking → sharing of marking outcomes. No fees are charged to participating schools, teachers or students; the goal is professional dialogue, exchange and growth through the programme.
Central marking has long been supported by partner platforms to simulate on-screen marking. For the 2026 AiTLE ICT Mock Circle, Sayo Academy powered the workflow end to end — from batch upload to automatic per-student paper splitting, AI-assisted first-pass marking and comments, teacher review to confirm marks, and students receiving returned scripts — all within one platform. Participating teachers shared rich feedback; the platform has already iterated in response.
To help more colleagues understand AiTLE ICT Mock Circle and how an AI platform can support examination marking, AiTLE and Sayo Academy are co-hosting this session. Practitioners will share first-hand lessons from embedding AI in the assessment loop.
