Terms of Service

By creating an account or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Content Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Sayo Academy provides an educational platform with AI-assisted tools for teachers and students, including classrooms, materials, grading, content generation, shareable apps and documents, and optional integrations such as Google Classroom and Google Drive. We may add, change, or remove features at any time.

The Service is intended for teachers, schools, and their students. If you are below the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may use the Service only under the supervision of a teacher, school, or parent who agrees to these Terms on your behalf. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account.

You agree not to:

• use the Service for any unlawful or harmful purpose;
• upload or publish content that infringes the rights of others, violates applicable law (including the laws of Hong Kong and the Hong Kong National Security Law), or breaches our Content Policy
• publish sexual or pornographic material, partisan political campaigning unsuitable for school sharing, hate speech, graphic violence or self-harm content, illegal-activity guides, bullying or doxxing, extremist glorification, gambling or adult commercial content, or dangerous misinformation aimed at minors, except where an educational exception in the Content Policy clearly applies;
• attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems;
• interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service; or
• misuse connected third-party accounts or data in violation of their terms.

Certain features require a paid subscription. Pricing and plan details are shown on our pricing page. Fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis and are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated. You may cancel at any time, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

You retain ownership of the content you create or upload. You grant Sayo AI Limited a limited licence to host, store, process, screen, and display that content solely to operate and provide the Service to you and to users you share with. You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to any content you upload or import.

When you publish content to your organisation or to the public, you warrant that it complies with these Terms and the Content Policy, and you must affirmatively confirm that compliance in the publish flow. We may use automated screening (including AI) and human moderation to review shared content. We may refuse, unpublish, replace, or policy-remove content that violates these Terms or the Content Policy, and we may suspend accounts for serious or repeated breaches. Automated approval does not waive your responsibility for the content.

The Service integrates with third-party services, including Google Classroom, Google Drive, and Google Forms. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and policies, and you are responsible for the data you choose to import or connect. Our use of Google user data is described in our Privacy Policy.

The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by Sayo AI Limited and protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to our trademarks or other brand features.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated content or automated moderation will be accurate, complete, or fit for a particular purpose.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sayo AI Limited will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if we are required to do so by law. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases, though provisions that by their nature should survive will remain in effect.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hong Kong.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
