What is My Materials?
My Materials is your personal library for all learning content and assignments.
From this page you can:
- Create new Learning materials or Assignments
- Search and filter your saved items
- Send to Room to attach content to a classroom
It combines both your Materials and Assignments in a single, easy-to-manage space.
How to Access My Materials
- Log in to the Teacher Portal.
- On the sidebar, click Material.
- You'll land on My Materials.
The My Materials Page Layout
- Toolbar — search, filters, and Create material (opens Create Material)
- Card or list view — toggle how items are displayed
- Filter — show All, Learning, or Assignment items
If your library is empty, use Create material to add your first item.
Creating New Materials or Assignments
- Click Create material on the My Materials page (or open Create Material directly).
- Choose how to build the item:
- Generate new PDF — describe what you need, then continue in Sayo Chat to refine an AI-generated PDF
- Upload existing PDF — use a PDF from your device as-is (no AI regeneration)
- Pick Learning or Assignment as the material type and complete the form fields shown.
- Save the item to your library.

Managing Your Materials Library
Each Material or Assignment appears as a card on your library page.
From each card you can:
- Edit — update title, file, or description (opens an edit sheet)
- Delete — remove from your library
- Preview — view the file before sharing
- Send to Room — pick a classroom to attach the item
ℹ️ Any material or assignment created here can be reused across multiple classrooms without needing to upload again.
