What are classroom learning materials?
Your teacher attaches learning materials to your classroom for reference.
These can include:
- Notes or handouts
- Slides
- Reading materials
- Practice sheets
Learning materials are for studying and downloading. Work you need to submit is under Homework, not Learning materials.
Where to find learning materials
- Go to My Classes and open your classroom.
- Tap or click the Learning materials tab at the top.
How to view a learning material
- In the Learning materials tab, you will see a list of items (they look like cards or rows).
- Click on the one you want to see.
- A preview opens on your screen.
Inside this preview, you will typically find:
- Title — the name of the learning material
- Description — what it is about
- Overview — a short summary to help you understand it quickly (when your teacher added one)
- File view and download — look at the file right away, or press Download to save it to your device
That’s it! You can open as many learning materials as you like and download them to keep for later.
Tips
- If you can’t find a file, check whether it might be an assignment under Homework instead.
- Download important handouts early so you still have them if you’re offline later.
- Use clear titles from your teacher as bookmarks — the list can get long over a term.
