Interactive Agents in Sayo Academy are custom AI assistants that you can create, customize, and share with your institution or the public. Unlike the predefined tools in the Tools section, Interactive Agents are personalized AI assistants tailored to your specific educational needs.
What Are Interactive Agents?
Interactive Agents are custom AI assistants that you can:
- Create: Build personalized AI assistants for specific subjects, curricula, or tasks
- Customize: Define behavior, knowledge base, and specialization areas
- Share: Make them available to your institution or the broader community
- Use: Interact with them like ChatGPT, but specialized for education
Where to Access Interactive Agents
- Main Navigation: Sidebar → "Interactive Agents"
- Direct URL: Visit "/interactive-agents"
- Create New: Click "Create Interactive Agent" button to build your own

Creating Your Own Interactive Agents
- Open Interactive Agents from the sidebar (
/interactive-agents).
- Click Create Interactive Agent — this opens the builder form at
/interactive-agents/new/form.
- Fill in:
- Name, Description, and Visibility (Private, Institution, or Public)
- Optional educational metadata (subject, curriculum, level, language)
- Detailed instructions — how the agent should behave
- Optional knowledge files (PDFs, images)
- Save the agent. It appears in your library and can be pinned to classrooms from the Interactive Agents tab in a room.
