Learn what a Classroom is, how to enter or join one, and what features you can find inside.

What is a Classroom?

A Classroom is your online learning space. Each classroom is for one subject or class that your teacher created.

Inside the classroom, you will find:

  • Lessons
  • Homework
  • AI Tools
  • Classmates

How to Enter a Classroom

First, log in to the Student Portal. You can open a classroom in two ways:

  1. From the Sidebar – click the classroom name on the left side
  2. From the Student Portal Home Page – click the classroom card you see on the main screen

What You See in the Classroom

When you open a classroom, you will see:

Header (top of the page)

  • Title – the name of the class (example: “Science”)
  • Class Level – the grade (example: “Grade 6”)
  • Teacher’s Name – the teacher in charge of the class

Navigation Bar (menu under the header)

This menu helps you move between different parts of the class:

  1. Materials Tab – see study materials shared by the teacher (shown in cards or rows)
  2. Homework Tab – see all assignments you need to do (shown in cards or rows)
  3. AI Tools Tab – use special AI tools added by the teacher to help with learning
  4. History Tab – see your past usage of AI tools in this classroom
  5. Students Tab – see the list of classmates in this class

How to Join a Classroom

Method 1: Join with a Classroom Code

  1. Log in to the Student Portal
  2. At the top (header), click the Join Classroom button
  3. A box will appear asking for a Classroom Code
  4. Type in the code your teacher gave you
  5. Press Join
  6. You’re now part of the classroom!

Method 2: Join with an Invite Link

  • Your teacher might send you a special invite link (through chat, email, or another app)
  • Simply click the link
  • You will be taken to the Student Portal, and the classroom will be added automatically
