Learn how to manage and add lessons directly inside a classroom, including creating new content or importing from My Classwork, then editing or removing items from the Lessons tab.
The Lessons tab is where you manage all study resources available to students in a specific classroom — notes, handouts, slides, worksheets, and similar files.
(What used to be called the Learning Materials tab is now Lessons.)

You can click any card to view details in a preview before students open it.
Click the Add Lesson button to open a menu with two main options:
This option opens a creation form for the current classroom.

After filling the form:
Any new lesson created here is also saved to your My Classwork library, so you can reuse it later in other classrooms.
If you already have lessons saved in My Classwork:
The selected lessons will appear inside the classroom’s Lessons tab.
You can select multiple lessons at once, which makes it faster to prepare a full set of resources for a class.
Each lesson appears as a card in the classroom.
Click the three-dot (⋯) button to access management options:
Opens the lesson editing form.
You can update the file, title, or descriptions directly from here.
Changes made here also update the lesson in your My Classwork library and in all classrooms that share the same content. Edit carefully if students may already be using the older version.
This option removes the lesson only from the current classroom.
The item stays safe in your My Classwork library, so you can re-add it later if needed.
Clicking a lesson card opens a preview showing:
Students will see the same core details, without teacher-only controls.
