Creating and Managing Classrooms

What is a Classroom?

A Classroom is your teaching space where you manage lessons, homework, and students for a specific subject or level.
Each classroom is powered by AI tools to help you organize learning and monitor student progress efficiently.

How to Access the Classroom Section

1. Log in to the Teacher Portal.
2. On the Sidebar, click the My Classroom menu.
3. You will be taken to the My Classes page — this is where all your classrooms are listed.

How to Create a Classroom

On the My Classes page, you’ll see a special card with a plus icon (+) labeled “Create AI-Powered Classroom.”

Steps to Create a Classroom

1. Click the Create AI-Powered Classroom card.
2. A form will appear asking for the following details:
   • Class Name – for example: Science, Mathematics, English Literature
   • Grade Level – for example: Grade 6, High School, or College
   • Max Students – the maximum number of students allowed in this class (up to 75)
3. After filling in the form:
   • Click Save to create the classroom
   • Click Cancel to discard and close the form
4. Once you press Save, your new classroom will appear as a card in the My Classes page.

How to Edit a Classroom

Each classroom card includes a three-dot menu (⋮) in the top-right corner.
This menu lets you make quick changes or access classroom settings.

To Edit Classroom Name

1. Click the three dots (⋮) on the classroom card.
2. Choose Edit Name from the dropdown menu.
3. Enter the new name and save the changes.

To Edit Grade or Max Students

1. Click the three dots (⋮) again.
2. Choose Room Settings.
3. The same form you used for classroom creation will appear.
4. Update any of these fields:
   • Class Name
   • Grade Level
   • Max Students
5. Press Save to apply changes or Cancel to discard them.

How to Delete a Classroom

If you need to remove a classroom:

1. Click the three dots (⋮) on the classroom card.
2. Select Delete from the menu.
3. Confirm your choice when asked — once deleted, the classroom and its contents will no longer appear on your My Classes page.

What Happens After Creating or Editing

After creating or updating a classroom:

• The classroom card will instantly appear (or update) in your My Classes page.
• You can click the card to enter the classroom and start adding materials, assignments, and AI tools.
